To find the right flute teacher, you’ll want to take stock of what you hope to achieve and the way you learn best. Do you require a lot of structure and accountability for practicing? Are you hoping to be a jazz flutist? Finding the right flute teacher is important and unique to each student. Here are some questions you can ask during our first lesson or with any flute teacher you are considering:

Group flute classes are divided by age with the youngest group being 8-12 years old. Due to the fast pace of a group class, it can be difficult for students younger than 8 to keep up.
